Michael Gibson is a respected club and hospitality leader with more than 35 years of experience in private club and resort management. Raised on Martha’s Vineyard, Gibson developed an early appreciation for hospitality. His career began in food and beverage, where he discovered that his greatest passion was the people and relationships that make hospitality so meaningful.
Gibson currently serves as general manager/chief operating officer of Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club. Since joining Grand Harbor in 2020, he has helped guide the club through an exciting period of growth and transformation, working closely with the board, members and staff to elevate the member experience. Under his leadership, Grand Harbor has expanded its team, strengthened its operations and continued to invest in the club’s facilities, programs and future.
Before Grand Harbor, Gibson served as general manager/COO of Boca Grove. Prior to that, he was general manager of Old Marsh Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, where he helped lead the club to national recognition.
Throughout his career, Gibson has remained committed to community involvement and charitable initiatives. At Grand Harbor, Gibson is passionate about creating a culture where members feel connected, employees feel appreciated, and everyone who walks through the doors feels at home.
