Kirsten Kennedy is the founder and owner of Bungalow Home Co., an immersive furniture, interior design, and lifestyle destination in Vero Beach. She and her husband Andrew Kennedy relocated from New York City to Vero Beach more than 20 years ago, where they raised their three children while building successful businesses and a life deeply rooted in the community.
What began in 2013 as a bespoke home staging and styling company has grown into one of the Treasure Coast’s most distinctive furniture and design destinations. Today, Bungalow Home Co. is a destination furniture store and design center that includes lighting, artwork, accessories, and outdoor furniture. It also offers full-service interior residential and commercial design services. The company has earned a reputation for its thoughtfully curated furnishings, personalized service, welcoming team, and immersive shopping experience inspired by relaxed tropical living with timeless sophistication.
Team: David Teneralli (Creative Director/Lead Designer), Kirsten Kennedy (Founder/Owner), Saxon Curpier (Lead Designer), Kate Simpson (Retail Associate and Inventory Manager), Taylor Brown (Operations Manager and Design Associate), Chrissy Trujillo (Marketing, Social Media, Events), Kendra Morein (Procurement and Accounting), and Whitney van der Does (Lead Designer).
As the company continues to grow, the next chapter is already underway. Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2027 on an expansion of the flagship showroom at 615 Beachland Boulevard, adding more than 1,000 square feet of interior showroom space and an expanded design center. Expected to be completed in the fall of 2027, the project will introduce additional private-label furniture collections, expanded client collaboration spaces, and an even more inspiring retail experience.
Kennedy’s vision reaches beyond Vero Beach. She is building Bungalow Home Co. into a recognized furniture and lifestyle brand, with thoughtful expansion planned for additional markets.
