About Us

Vero Beach Magazine is located in an historic building in the heart of the Vero Beach, across from the police department and near City Hall. Founded in 1997 by Elizabeth (Beth) Moulton, a Connecticut transplant with a Vero Beach spouse, the magazine’s main goal is to celebrate all the qualities that make the community beloved by both year-round and seasonal residents.

Beth first entered the magazine world as an intern working for Esquire magazine in 1984. After attending Pratt Institute and graduating from NYU, she contributed to Town & Country and The New York Times Magazine, among others. Her other freelance clients included Philip Morris, Stella D’oro and IBM. She also spent several years providing design and copywriting on the staff of both Booz, Allen & Hamilton and American Express in Manhattan. Ultimately returning to Connecticut, her birthplace, she served as the Art Director at Greenwich Magazine until 1996, founding Vero Beach Magazine in 1997.

Vero Beach Magazine strives to be a positive force in the community by engaging readers with truthful, quality editorial and photography; generating support for non-profit organizations; and promoting local small businesses.

The staff believes that regional publications have an obligation to give back to the communities that they serve by supporting local non-profit fundraising efforts, financially and editorially, and uncovering methods to preserve local history and the environment.
