The spacious great room is the perfect place for friends and family to gather. No one knows this better than John Genoni, president of Beachland Homes, who grew up in the construction industry. “My father is in real estate development in Melbourne, and I remember watching his houses being built. I knew that’s what I wanted to do when I got older,” says John, recalling early impressionable years. When an Arthur Rutenberg Homes franchise became available in Indian River County, he didn’t have to think twice.
That was over two years ago. Since then, John; his brother Chad, who handles the financial end of the business; and John’s wife Nicki, who oversees marketing and sales, have turned their attention to constructing custom homes at The Polo Grounds, River Club, Cache Cay and Indian Trails.
