May 21: Children who have experienced the loss of a loved one spent the day at the VNA Hospice’s Camp Chrysalis at McKee Botanical Garden. Children ages 7 to 12 participated in a scavenger hunt, wildlife exhibition, live butterfly release and group workshops with VNA bereavement counselors and volunteers. Activities were designed to help the children work through their grief.
