APRIL 15 & 16: Thousands of people made their way downtown for the annual Hibiscus Festival, which raised funds for Main Street Vero Beach and Vero Heritage Inc. The event kicked off with the Miss Hibiscus Pageant, followed by a 5K run/walk, a doggies’ Easter bonnet parade, children’s activities, art show and sale, and marketplace booths and farmer’s market. The festivities concluded with a street party, music and dancing.
