As the sun begins to rise, a small family of elephants are gathering for their morning bath ritual. It’s the kind of scene you associate with a safari, but this is not a distant land in Africa; this is Indian River County.
America-based elephants in need of a home and family unit have finally found one here, thanks to the determination of John Lehnhardt and his team, and the support of donors across the country.
