It's a beautiful November day at Dodgertown in Vero Beach.  The temperature hovers in the 70's, there is the barest of breezes and the sun and clouds are the stuff of an artist's dreams.

More surprisingly, there isn't a laptop in sight or a pager to be heard. Everyone's attention is focused on the baseball field where the Dodgers'
"fantasy campers" are immersed in their game of choice.

The Dodger Fantasy Camp started in 1983. Back then it was held once a year, but by 1985 it had proved so popular that it was expanded to two sessions, one in February before the start of spring training and the other in November
after the World Series.
