When The Past Meets The Future

A couple from Naples buys a home in Vero Beach, then transforms it with the help of its original owner.
Mori and Danny couldn't be happier with the way their "small house designed for casual living" transitioned from traditional to modern, reflecting their personalities and showcasing their art collection.

“Small but mighty” is how Mori MacKenzie describes the two-story house she and Danny Tyler purchased two years ago. After residing in Naples for 18 years in a home nearly twice the size, it was time for downsizing as well as a change of place.

When the couple decided to leave the Gulf Coast behind they knew exactly where they were going. “We just fell in love with Vero Beach, the small town feeling, the friendly people and so many cultural opportunities. Plus which, we have family here – Danny’s son Nathan, his wife Heather and grandchild, so this is perfect,” Mori says.
