December 6: Gaston Bijoux hosted a cocktail reception for major donors of the Environmental Learning Center, which gave them first chance to bid on a 12.38-carat modified emerald-cut Aquamarine set with two diamond side stones weighing 1.6 carats.

Rainy Days For Mardy Fish And Jake Owen

December 9: Rain did not deter the crowd for the tennis exhibition at Mardy’s Tennis & Jake’s Music Fest at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club. The event began with a kids’ tennis clinic, followed by a reception hosted by Mardy Fish and tennis with Mardy, Sam Querrey, the Bryan Brothers and Serena Williams.

Turkey Trot Against Hunger

November 24: Close to 1,000 people started their Thanksgiving morning running or walking in the Harvest Food & Outreach Center’s fourth annual Trot Against Hunger at Riverside Park.

Premier Estate Properties

December 1: Premier Estate Properties hosted a private art exhibition at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa. Guests enjoyed wine and hors d’oeuvres while viewing en plein air artwork by Adriana Scalamandre Bitter.

December 2: Tara Plantation was decorated inside and out with Christmas decorations and holiday lights at the Exchange Club of the Treasure Coast’s Night of Lights

Art Trail Raises Funds For Scholarships

December 3: The Vero Beach Art Club presented Art Trail, its annual tour of artists’ studios, which included Joan Earnhart, Deborah Gooch, Al Gustave, Barbara Krupp, Marie Morrow, Tim Sanchez, Sean and Sharon Sexton, Sara Shankland, Maria Sparsis, Kathleen Staiger, Ginny Piech Street and Allan Teger.

Christmas Party At The Museum

December 4: The Vero Beach Museum of Art held its annual holiday party Christmas at the Museum. Families and children enjoyed school and youth group music and dance entertainment, refreshments, holiday crafts and a visit from Santa.

IRMC Golf Classic

December 5: Participants enjoyed a beautiful day of golf at the 22nd annual Indian River Medical Center Foundation’s Swing for Health Golf Classic at Hawk’s Nest Golf Club.

Florida Eye Institute Doctors Become FACS

Florida Eye Institute physicians Thomas A. Baudo and Val Zudans were recently appointed Fellows by the American College of Surgeons (FACS). The designation indicates that their professional qualifications, surgical competence and ethical conduct have passed the rigorous standards established by the College.
