A French Canadian couple cherishes a home with an Atlantic view from every room.
One would think that after over a year, the French Canadian couple from Montreal would have tired of the views from their beachside home. Not so. The first golden rays of sun casting a glow over the ever-changing waters of the Atlantic, pelicans hovering in search of breakfast and the sight of tiny terns skittering along the sand never fail to fascinate.
Having owned a condominium in Palm Beach since the early '90s, Agnes and Yves had grown fond of the coastal lifestyle. As the years went by and work responsibilities began to ease, the idea of building a house overlooking the ocean became increasingly attractive. The idea became a reality 15 months ago, and their home is everything the couple had hoped for.
“It’s like living on a point,” says Yves. “This is where we wanted to be, right here; and thanks to the builder and architect, everything was move-in ready on schedule – and on budget!”
