Altruistic giving is why Vero Beach has a top-ranked Heart Center, a state-of-the-art emergency room, a regionally producing professional theatre, an acclaimed teaching art museum, and a renowned as well as debt-free private school that collectively help attract bright young physicians and accomplished artists and teachers here. It is also why we have an award-winning Habitat for Humanity affiliate and why disadvantaged children go home from school on Fridays with food as well as textbooks in their backpacks
