APRIL 17: Literacy Services of Indian River County celebrated its 40th anniversary with a Glitzy Cabaret of the ’40s at the Orchid Island Beach Club. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and a special performance by international jazz and opera singer Sylvie Lewis. Proceeds from the event help fund the organization’s mission to improve the literacy of residents in our county.
