APRIL 14: The Gifford Youth Activity Center held its annual Dan K. Richardson Humanitarian Banquet, which recognizes local individuals for their humanitarian efforts, at the Richardson Center on the Indian River State College Mueller campus. This year’s honorees were Dr. A. Ronald Hudson, one of the GYAC founders, and Carter Hopkins, founder of the GYAC Foundation. Proceeds from the banquet will help GYAC continue its programs for at-risk youth, seniors and the community.
