May 30: Over 300 participants laced up their running shoes on Memorial Day for the Senior Resource Association’s fourth annual Freedom 5K Run/Walk and 1-mile fun run at Riverside Park. Overall female winner was Lotte Branigan with a time of 20:50 and overall female masters winner was Mindy Struwas at 22:59. Overall male winner was Jordan Guenther with a time of 17:11 and overall male masters winner was Jon Williams at 17:20. Proceeds from the event support the organization’s programs and services.
