MAY 7: Friends and relatives celebrated at the annual Pioneer Recognition Dinner at the Heritage Center honoring members of the Schlitt family. The Schlitt legacy began in 1918 when Louis and Maryanna Schlitt came to the area with their family. Each year a local family is recognized for their contributions to the growth and progress of the county.
