May 21: Over 20 teams gathered at the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River for the Adventures of Sherlock Bones Scavenger Hunt hosted by the Yuppie Puppies Young Professionals group. Teams were given clues and raced around town looking for items in an allotted amount of time. The team who solved the most clues won the title of “Greatest Pet Detective;” this year’s winning team was “Krazy Kats.”
The hunt was followed by a barbecue lunch, awards and music by the Old Barber Bridge. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Humane Society.
