January 31: More than 70 philanthropists and community leaders gathered at the home of Dale and Matilde Sorensen for the Indian River Community Foundation’s Annual Reception and Celebration. The evening paid tribute to the Foundation’s founding members and the $4.5 million in grants that were awarded to local nonprofit organizations in 2011.
