Adding A ½ To Gallery 14
Gallery 14’s partner artists recently opened Gallery 14 and 1/2 adjacent to the main gallery in the Downtown Dine & Design district.
The new space specializes in smaller pieces to fill the niche for those looking for a one-of-a-kind gift. The gallery promotes a mixture of emerging artists, established artists and artwork from fine craftspeople in several different genres, including glass, contemporary mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics and wall art.
After celebrating its fifth anniversary, the main gallery continues to showcase work by partners Edgardo Abello, Leigh Bennett, Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Virginia Knapp, Barbara Landry, Deborah Morrell Polackwich and Dorothy Napp Schindel, as well as represented artists Minakshi De, Emily Heinzel, Carole Keller, Viola Pace Knudsen, Francis Mesaros and Carol Staub.
Gallery 14 and 1/2 is located at 1905 14th Ave. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and by appointment.
