Indian River County Medical Center Auxilians honored volunteers who had served 500 to 16,000 hours at the general membership meeting on January 12. Florence Booms was recognized for 16,000 hours of service, equal to more than seven years of working at a full-time position. Other honorees included Emily Andrews and Pat Hahn for 13,000 hours of service, Jerry McCown for 11,000 hours and Lorrie Fahey, Laura Hincemon and Theresa Viens for 10,000 hours.
