Vero Beach Winter Getaway

Dear Journal,

Another cold, northern winter?

No, I don’t think so. After months of gray skies, I need sun and plenty of it.

So it’s off to Vero Beach – call it relocation therapy if you must. Days spent on the beach, nights with just a hint of a chill. This is my idea of winter!

Tomorrow we have an early tee time at that golf course on the river. We played it last year, can’t remember the name. Hope we see dolphins again.

Note to self: next year – arrive earlier, stay longer.
