April 17: Local bridge players dealt a winning hand to the Women’s Refuge of Vero Beach at the sixth annual Duplicate Bridge Tournament and Luncheon at Sea Oaks Beach Club. Forty-four players competed to win prizes donated by Fresh Market and Chelsea’s on Cardinal. The afternoon concluded with a luncheon and the awarding of several raffle prizes. The $3,300 raised from the event will support the mission of the Women’s Refuge.
