November 15: The Association of Fundraising Professionals Indian River Chapter hosted its annual National Philanthropy Day at the Riverside Theatre. Guests celebrated with an awards ceremony followed by a cocktail reception. Awards recipients were Outstanding Individual Philanthropist – Barney & Hariot Greene; Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist – U.S. Trust/Bank of America Private Wealth Management; Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser – Karl Steene, and Unsung Hero – David M. Taylor.
