Darby Fine Art owners Linda and George O’Malley

Linda and George O’Malley recently opened Darby Fine Art on 14th Avenue in the downtown design district.

The gallery features contemporary fine art in all mediums, including photography and sculpture pieces, and provides commercial and private consulting services. Studio space is also available for educational seminars and classes. The mission of the gallery is to increase the appreciation for artists and to encourage more people to become comfortable owning art.

Darby Fine Art also operates as a consignment gallery. Their affiliation with national gallery programs will help patrons find and purchase specific pieces of art.

Linda, an artist, holds degrees in commercial art and a BFA in fine art from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning. George received his degree in organizational development and finance from the University of Cincinnati and spent 34 years with Procter & Gamble.

Darby Fine Art is located at 1902 14th Ave. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment. 480-0491. www.darbyfineart.com.
