Creating At CREATE

Artist Martha Ann Sloan has relocated and expanded her teaching studio Create at Studio M.A. on 17th Street.

The studio offers workshops for pre-school children through teens in drawing, painting, crafts and other artistic endeavors, as well as the popular Art and Aperitif. The ladies’ night out event allows friends to create a masterpiece on canvas while enjoying a glass of bubbly.

Martha Ann has a degree in interior design from the University of Arkansas and has been in the interior design business for more than 30 years. She has also taught children’s art classes for many years in Arkansas, New Mexico and Texas.

Classes are held Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for children and adults. Art and Aperitif is offered every Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and by reservation for groups of six to 10 people.
