According to USA Today, Jayne Ann Krentz is “one of today’s hottest and most prolific writers.” Of this, there is no doubt; in fact, for those of us who write on a more casual basis (isn’t that just about everybody?), it is difficult to imagine writing as much as she has - not to mention having it all published.
Krentz began writing serial romances in the late 1970s for McFadden and Dell Candlelight Ecstasy. She moved on to write for Silhouette and Harlequin before turning exclusively to writing novels in the early 1990s. Today, Krentz is the author of over 122 (yes, you did read that right) romances, including 27 New York Times bestsellers. She has written contemporary romantic suspense novels under her name, as well as futuristic and historical romance novels under the pseudonyms Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick. In total, there are over 23 million copies of her books in print.
