Winners in Focus, Far and Wide

Vero Beach is home to many talented residents, and never is it more evident than at this time of year when the results are announced for the Indian River Photo Club’s annual juried competition.

This year the 152 entries were judged by Marilyn Cook, a photography instructor at Brevard Community College; Louis Ciszek, a retired professional photographer and instructor, and Aric Attas, a professional photographer and instructor.

Photographers addressed a full gamut of themes and locations this year, spanning the globe in search of the perfect image. Here are the top winners in seven categories: People, Nature: Flora, Nature: Fauna, Still Life, ’Scapes, Special Techniques, and Open.
