Sharing Yarns At The Knitty Gritty

Knitting enthusiasts Anna and Amanda Gales recently opened The Knitty Gritty on Old Dixie Highway.

The specialty shop features yarns from Plymouth, Cascade, Malabrigo, Brown Sheep and Knitting Fever, as well as Knit Picks needles, notions, patterns and handcrafted gifts. The Knitty Gritty offers a variety of knitting and crocheting classes for students of all levels taught by Anna who is a fiber artist and holds a degree in Art Education. The store also hosts “open knitting,” gatherings for local knitters.
