February 25: Award-winning author Richard Louv will be at McKee Botanical Garden for two special events beginning with A Conversation with Richard Louv, which includes a light breakfast and lecture at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $75 per person.
The second will be An Evening with Richard Louv, which includes dinner and a lecture at 7 p.m. Following dinner, Louv will launch McKee's Garden Discovery Backpack Program. Tickets are $200 per person.
Louv coined the term "Nature Deficit Disorder" and will share his insight about the disconnection between children and nature. He has also written two books, Last Child in the Woods and The Nature Principle.
