March For Babies With The March Of Dimes

March 3: Lace up your sneakers for the March of Dimes' largest fundraiser and 30th annual March for Babies at Riverside Park. The purpose of the walk is to raise funds and awareness to help the organization's mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality.

Registration for the 6-mile and 1-mile walk begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the start of the walk at 8:30 a.m. Corporate teams, organizations, family teams and individuals are invited to participate and will receive a continental breakfast and lunch, along with face painting, bounce house, crafts and cookie decorating for the kids, live entertainment and fundraising awards. Event co-chairmen are Dr. Fran Adams and Cyn DeLee Dalton.
