Firefighters Fair Is Back In Town

March 9-18:  It's time once again for the Indian River County Firefighters Fair, Your Fair, Your Family, Your Fun, at the Indian River County Fairgrounds located at 7955 58th Ave. Since 1980, proceeds from the event have supported the Indian River County Burn Fund, local high-school scholarships, fairground improvements, public safety and various charitable organizations.

The 10-day fair features carnival rides, games, live entertainment, exhibits and food, including the Maximum Velocity stunt team, Simon Sez Comedy Hypnosis Show, magician Steven Marcus and the annual Demolition Derby.

Fair hours are Monday through Thursday 5 to 10 p.m.; Friday 5 p.m. to midnight; Saturday 1 p.m. to midnight, and Sunday 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is $5 per adult and $3 per child ages 6-12 and seniors over 55.
