In a beautiful juxtaposition, with the facing page, the Conrad Pickel Studio captured the majesty of an adoring angel alongside the humility of a donkey.

What do Royal Palm Pointe Park, Indian River Medical Center, Temple Beth Shalom, the Gifford Youth Activity Center, Kennedy Space Center, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., and Lakeview Cemetery in Oshkosh, Wis., have in common? These locations, in addition to about a thousand others throughout North America, all feature the work of a renowned stained-glass and mosaic company located in Vero Beach – the Conrad Pickel Studio.

Paul Pickel, who runs the studio, is a second-generation stained-glass craftsman, but the techniques he uses date back more than a thousand years.
