When you walk into Sassy Boutique on Ocean Drive, your eyes pause at refreshing slices of tropical colors set against white and natural fibers and then come to rest on the smiling face of owner Deana Marchant. “Sassy is a true boutique,” she says on this 20th anniversary of Sassy’s opening. “I think of it as a throwback to the old Palm Beach boutiques that address different age groups and styles.”
Surrounded by cashmere sweaters, swimwear, resort wear, shoes, handbags, accessories, monogrammed gifts, and even coffee table books on fashion and resort living, she points out the main lines Sassy carries: Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Trina Turk, Nanette Lepore, Susana Monaco, Minnie Rose cashmere, Kinross cashmere, Milly and Tibi.
