Volunteer award recipients Pat Hahn and Lorraine Roberts
At a general membership meeting in January, Indian River Medical Center Auxilians honored its volunteers who served 500 to 19,000 hours. Joan Scheffres was recognized for 19,000 hours of service, equal to more than nine years working at a full-time position. Other honorees included Pat Hahn and Lorraine Roberts for 14,000 hours, Jerry McCown for 13,000 hours, Lorrie Fahey for 11,000 hours, and Carl and Jeanne Warren, and Steve Smith for 9,000 hours.
