David Rodriguez Launches Tapas Bar

Executive Chef David Rodriguez has fired up his culinary skills and created Cork Tapas & Dessert Bar in the Modern One building on Miracle Mile.

The establishment features an extensive wine list from different parts of the world and the U.S., as well as a menu of some of Chef Rodriguez’s specialities, which include pressed sandwiches, salads, charcuteries, gourmet flat breads and desserts. Cork Tapas & Dessert Bar has also partnered with Frosting on Cardinal Drive to bake a selection of cakes and cupcakes.

Chef Rodriguez is the former executive chef of Oriente at the Costa d’Este Beach Resort and owner of Tapas Latin Fusion in Stuart and Lantana. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York and has worked in several famous restaurants in Florida and New Jersey, including Larios in Miami Beach, the Doubletree Hotel in Somerset, the Palace at Somerset Park, the Old Mill Inn and the Hilton Short Hills.
